frequently asked questions
can only one individual apply for help?
No, an individual or multiple people can apply. We support both individuals and families. If your household is impacted, we welcome collaborative applications from associates, caregivers, or trusted supports. Businesses, nonprofits, or small teams may also apply if they serve trauma-impacted or underserved communities. We understand that every request is urgent.
how long will it take back to hear back after I apply?
We aim to respond within 7–10 business days. If additional documentation is needed, we will contact you. We do our best to prioritize critical needs.
what services are available to a person or a company?
We offer support in several areas: trauma-informed financial education and decision coaching, peer mentorship and capacity-building, business planning and ethical consulting for healing-centered enterprises, access to educational tools, gamified learning, and short-term advisory support for navigating life transitions, care coordination, or financial hardship.
for how long can I receive benefits/services?
Most individuals and organizations receive support for 3–6 months, depending on their goals. Extensions are possible based on continued need, engagement, and mutual planning.
do I need to provide any documentation?
In most cases, yes. Depending on the support requested, we may ask for either a brief narrative of your goals or current challenges, identification and/or nonprofit or business verification (if applicable), or relevant financial or medical hardship documentation (confidential and optional in some cases). We are trauma-informed and our intake process is flexible, compassionate, and designed to reduce overwhelm.
